Pittsburgh @ St. Louis

Pittsburgh wins the final game of the series in easy fashion. Wicker allows all Pittsburgh players to have at least a hit, with the exception of Wagner. Leach bats like a crazed man. Pittsburgh is now 3-0.

St. Vrain makes an admirable debut but still leaves a loser. Phillips holds the Chicago bats in check especially in the clutch. The 4 Chicago errors were not costly as all Cincy runs were earned.
